Scarpa's® experience and research guarantee absolute comfort from the new ACTIVfit Technology collection. The new range of products takes quality up a notch in terms of performance, comfort, style and durability. These boots are specifically built for maximum performance on any type of terrain while still offering complete comfort and support.  

These models have all it takes to tackle backpacking, challenging trekking trips and lengthy hikes.  ACTIVfit Technology develops specific shapes, soles and models for men and women.

ACTIVfit Technology Features

BD Last (Men’s styles) 
Used in Kinesis Tech GTX, SL, Delta GTX.  A recently designed all-new modern last. The new profile enables maximum foot hold. Better foot rolling in synergy with the bio-mechanical parameters mean easier forward propulsion. There’s more volume in the toe area for the best fit and the heel area is designed for perfect heel hold.

LBE Last (Women’s styles)
Used in the Mythos Tech GTX. This last offers the same features as the BD last, above, but specifically shaped for women’s feet. The proportions of the last differ by catering to the narrower heel and proportionally broader fore-feet characteristic of women’s feet. 

Biometric Sole (Men’s styles)
The Biometric sole unit features an asymmetric TPU shank, medial and lateral support posts. The light PU midsole provides both rearfoot and forefoot cushioning. The Vibram rubber outsole is anatomically designed for superior stability, maximum traction and grip, and excellent foot rolling.

Biometric Lite Sole (Women’s styles)
The Biometric Lite sole unit is adapted to suit women’s specific needs. The sole features an asymmetric TPU shank, medial and lateral support posts. The light PU midsole provides both rearfoot and forefoot cushioning. The Vibram rubber outsole is anatomically designed for superior stability, maximum traction and grip, and excellent foot rolling.

ACTIVfit Sock Liners
Scarpa® have developed moulded sock liners for men and women to provide the best comfort and support. The Sock Liner features a Viscoflex (memory foam) layer for better cushioning without compressing. The bottom layer in a moulded insulation layer while the top layer is breathable to keep active feet comfortable.

Heel Tension System
This innovative system is applied on the heel area of the upper to offer great stability and adaptability to the severe stress suffered on steep routes. The design and TPU material help the upper’s response, avoiding torsions to make walking easier – even on difficult, rough terrain.

Ankle Padding System
Special Memory Foam padding further improves the ability of the self-moulding rear upper. This is a light, breathable technical solution. The Ankle Padding System increases the capacity of the upper to adapt itself to the foot.

Autofit Collar
The ergonomic design of the collar the special padding ensures maximum adaptability and comfort of the upper. The Autofit collar reduces impact stress on the Achillies and malleolus area.

V-Flex
The introduction of the V-Flex System in the ankle flex area allows a wider, more natural movement of the foot. The upper is better able to adapt to the movement of the foot, even when walking on steep routes with a heavy pack.

Speed Lacing System
Achieve a comfortable, precise fit in a simple, and quick way. Toe to top adjustment quickly and easily.
