Brando Yelavich Update

You will recall our previous news story on the inspiring Brando Yelavich who is currently circumnavigating the length of New Zealand’s coastline all in aid of raising money and awareness for Ronald McDonald House NZ.

Well as of October 30th, 271 days since he set-off on this epic adventure he finds himself approaching Purakaunui Bay on the wild south east coast. Throughout this journey, which has seen Brando living off the land and sea, he has been joined by friends and family for short stretches including most recently his grandfather.  Brando’s story has captivated the nation and as a result he continues to feature in regular media spots including this radio interview on Hokonui and an update on Seven Sharp.

Brando wears Scarpa Kinesis Pro GTX boots. Brando's adventure really captures the spirit of Scarpa - No Place Too Far and we wish him all the best for the rest of the journey. You can keep up to date with Brando's progress by Liking his Facebook page or by checking out this real time map.
